Responsibility
- Develop and execute regional account plans to drive revenue growth and increase Panalpinaâs share of wallet with key clients.
- Collaborate with the Global Account Director (GAD) to align strategies, set targets, and monitor performance for assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and lead cross-functional teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to proactively adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, customer service) to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
- Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, KPIs, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
- Represent Panalpina at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
- Proven track record of managing high-value accounts, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets in a regional or global context.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in a matrix organization and leading cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, or other regional languages) are a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel regionally (up to 30%) and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
