Responsibility

  • Lead and conduct thorough investigations into complex employee relations issues, ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
  • Provide strategic guidance and counsel to senior leadership and HR teams on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and implement proactive employee relations strategies to foster a positive workplace culture and minimize risks.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regional employment regulations and mitigate potential liabilities.
  • Design and deliver training programs for managers and employees on topics such as workplace conduct, anti-harassment, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Analyze trends and data related to employee relations to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees at all levels, providing support and guidance on workplace concerns.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in employee relations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in conducting investigations, resolving conflicts, and managing complex employee relations cases in a multinational environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations across Southeast Asia, with a strong focus on Indonesia.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs on employee relations topics.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
