Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on commercial and industrial refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in cooling units, compressors, and related equipment.
- Install, configure, and calibrate new refrigeration systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Monitor system performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to reduce energy consumption and downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess equipment needs and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all service and repair operations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians or staff on refrigeration system operations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 2+ years) as a Refrigeration Technician, HVAC Specialist, or similar role in commercial/industrial settings.
- Certification in refrigeration and air conditioning (e.g., EPA 608, local Indonesian equivalents) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
- Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ability to use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment (e.g., manifold gauges, multimeters, leak detectors).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks at varying heights.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a plus; basic Indonesian language skills are beneficial.
