Responsibility
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on construction equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems for potential issues.
- Conduct routine checks, lubrication, and adjustments to machinery as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
- Collaborate with the operations team to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance of construction equipment (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, cranes).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in various environmental conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and OSHA standards is a plus.
