Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the receiving team to ensure timely and accurate unloading, inspection, and storage of incoming merchandise.
- Implement and enforce standard receiving procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders and invoices, resolving any discrepancies with suppliers or internal teams.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring product availability and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations.
- Train and mentor receiving staff on best practices, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of received goods, including documentation for audits and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in all receiving activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and suppliers.
- Familiarity with retail operations and customer service standards is a plus.
