Responsibility
- Support the planning, development, and integration of railway signalling systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct verification and validation testing to ensure system reliability, safety, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, software developers, and hardware engineers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including system specifications, test reports, and maintenance manuals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to signalling systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in railway signalling technology and recommend improvements to existing systems.
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support during the implementation and commissioning phases of signalling projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in railway signalling systems, control systems, or a similar engineering discipline.
- Strong knowledge of railway signalling principles, standards (e.g., CENELEC, AREMA), and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using engineering design tools such as CAD, MATLAB, or simulation software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in multicultural environments.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required and adapt to dynamic work environments.
