Responsibility
- Operate and maintain advanced medical imaging equipment, including X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound machines, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and patient protection standards during all procedures.
- Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to ensure accurate imaging results while maintaining patient comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret imaging results and provide preliminary findings when necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including imaging results, exposure data, and patient history.
- Perform routine equipment checks and calibration to ensure optimal performance and report any malfunctions promptly.
- Educate patients on imaging procedures, addressing any concerns to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiography techniques and technologies through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid certification or license to practice as a Radiographer in Indonesia (STR and SIP).
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical or hospital setting, operating various imaging modalities.
- Strong technical knowledge of medical imaging equipment, radiation safety, and image processing software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Commitment to patient care, ethical standards, and continuous learning in the field of radiography.
