Responsibility
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures (X-rays, CT scans, etc.) in compliance with safety and radiation protection standards.
- Assist medical staff in patient preparation, positioning, and care during imaging sessions.
- Operate and maintain radiography equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to protocols.
- Manage patient records, imaging results, and clinic documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing supplies, and coordinating with healthcare teams.
- Educate patients on imaging procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
- Monitor inventory of medical supplies and equipment, reporting shortages or maintenance needs promptly.
- Uphold strict hygiene, sterilization, and infection control standards in the clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field; certification as a Radiographer is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiography or a clinical assistant role within a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in operating X-ray machines, CT scanners, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
