Responsibility
- Lead thermodynamic and heat transfer system design for next-generation HVAC products, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Conduct CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and thermal simulations to validate designs and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality components and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and refine product specifications, technical drawings, and prototypes for testing and validation.
- Drive range improvement initiatives by analyzing field data, customer feedback, and competitive benchmarks.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, ASHRAE) and support patent applications for innovative designs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing, quality assurance) to transition designs from R&D to production.
- Document technical findings and present recommendations to stakeholders for continuous product enhancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in R&D, system design, or thermal engineering, preferably in HVAC or similar industries.
- Proficiency in CFD tools (ANSYS Fluent, SolidWorks Flow Simulation) and thermal analysis software.
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics principles.
- Experience with component sourcing, supplier negotiations, and prototype development.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, ASHRAE, UL) and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
