Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for interior fit-out projects.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor project expenditures and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or design integrity.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to align budgets with project timelines.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with project delays or material shortages.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in interior fit-out or high-end construction.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering blueprints.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction market and local suppliers is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
