Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze tender documents, including bills of quantities, for interior fit-out projects.
- Conduct cost estimations and budget planning to ensure project feasibility and profitability.
- Monitor project expenditures and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Evaluate and process contractor claims, variations, and final accounts.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify progress and compliance with specifications.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and terms.
- Ensure all projects adhere to local regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in interior fit-out or construction.
- Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience in the Bali market or tropical construction environments is advantageous.
