Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct site measurements and quantity take-offs to ensure accurate material and labor costing.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure competitive pricing and terms.
- Monitor project expenditures and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Assist in contract administration, including variations, claims, and final account settlements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to optimize project delivery.
- Maintain detailed records of project costs, changes, and progress for auditing and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation (for Quantity Surveyor role).
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and local building regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is advantageous.
