Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct thorough tender evaluations and recommend the most cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Prepare and submit progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to negotiate favorable terms and resolve disputes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
