Responsibility
- Oversee and manage multiple water works construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and resolve operational challenges.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Implement sustainable construction practices to minimize environmental impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on water works projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to dynamic project demands.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA) are a plus.
