In this role, you will play a critical part in our project lifecycle, ensuring that our ambitious construction developments are both financially viable and completed to the highest standards of cost-efficiency.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be the bridge between design, procurement, and execution. You will be responsible for providing accurate cost advice, managing project budgets, and mitigating financial risks. We are looking for someone who can navigate complex contracts, oversee sub-contractor accounts, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders. Responsibility
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation for new projects.
- Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring all construction activities remain within the established financial scope.
- Perform regular site visits to track progress and verify the accuracy of work completed against project claims.
- Review and administer construction contracts, ensuring full compliance with legal and industry standards.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, cost-to-complete forecasts, and variance analyses for senior management.
- Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project cost overruns.
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related construction management field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation, ideally within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard estimation software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Strong understanding of Philippine building codes, construction contracts, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders and contractors.
- Registered Professional (PRC License) is a distinct advantage.
