Responsibility
- Conduct thorough visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
- Perform first-article inspections (FAI) and in-process quality checks to identify defects or deviations early.
- Document and report quality control findings, including non-conformances, using standardized templates and digital tools.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation for traceability and audits.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001 or industry-specific standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Quality Inspector, Quality Verifier, or similar role in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and inspection software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality standards is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
