Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of electronic components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- Perform in-process and final quality checks using precision measuring tools, testing equipment, and visual inspection techniques.
- Document and report quality control findings, including defects, deviations, and non-conformities, with clear and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality metrics for traceability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, IPC, and other relevant quality management systems and certifications.
- Participate in calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
- Support the development and revision of quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection checklists.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCB assemblies, and testing methodologies (e.g., AOI, X-ray, functional testing).
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, multimeters, oscilloscopes) and familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, IPC-A-610).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and propose solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
- Strong communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Quality Control are a plus.
