Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of aerospace components, warehousing materials, and logistics equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
- Perform dimensional, visual, and functional testing using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
- Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in detailed reports for internal and client review.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Monitor and maintain quality control records, ensuring traceability and adherence to audit requirements.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection checklists.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing support to achieve and sustain certifications.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices in aerospace and warehousing environments.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in aerospace, aviation, or logistics/warehousing sectors.
- Proficiency in using metrology tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators) and interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA).
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) for reporting and team collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to safety and quality excellence.
