Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize precision measuring tools and testing equipment to verify product dimensions, functionality, and durability.
- Document and report any deviations or defects, providing detailed feedback to production teams for corrective action.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality control procedures and improve manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Perform regular calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in using measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Effective communication skills to convey findings and recommendations to team members and management.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
