Responsibility
- Lead and manage the QC team, ensuring adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality control systems, procedures, and best practices to enhance product consistency and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze production processes to identify defects, root causes, and corrective actions, driving continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues and optimize workflows.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, or other relevant quality certifications.
- Train and mentor QC staff, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and problem-solving.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to maintain competitive quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO 9001) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control within manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in implementing quality management systems (QMS) and driving process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, FMEA, SPC, PDCA).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, and reporting (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, CE) and auditing processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
