Radius One Architecture & Plumbing is currently seeking a meticulous and results-oriented Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our expanding construction team in Mandaue City. As a QC Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all architectural and plumbing projects adhere to the highest industry standards, local building codes, and safety regulations.
You will be the primary advocate for quality on our sites, responsible for conducting rigorous site inspections, reviewing technical documentation, and proactively identifying potential issues before they impact project timelines. Responsibility
- Perform daily site inspections to ensure construction activities align with approved plans and specifications.
- Conduct regular quality audits on plumbing and structural installations to identify defects or non-compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, checklists, and documentation for project management review.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and site personnel to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions immediately.
- Monitor the quality of construction materials delivered to the site to ensure they meet project standards.
- Maintain and update quality control documentation, including test results and material certifications.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on quality metrics and potential site risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in construction quality control or site inspection.
- Strong working knowledge of architectural and plumbing technical drawings and blueprints.
- Solid understanding of Philippine building codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical discrepancies on-site.
- Strong communication skills, capable of coordinating effectively with different teams.
- Proficiency in basic computer software for reporting (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD).
