Responsibility
- Inspect and verify the quality of incoming and outgoing products against established standards and specifications.
- Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, or deviations in materials or finished goods.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional tests using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality control data in digital or physical logs.
- Report non-conformities to supervisors and collaborate on corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including wearing required PPE (e.g., long pants, covered shoes).
- Assist in calibrating and maintaining inspection equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on quality trends and process inefficiencies.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in quality control or manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field (entry-level candidates with strong attention to detail are welcome).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and quality control manuals.
- Strong observational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and data entry systems.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move products as needed (up to 20 kg).
- Excellent communication skills to report findings clearly and collaborate with team members.
- Must bring a physical NRIC for verification on the first day.
