Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM machines.
- Document and report inspection results, including non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test data, and quality metrics for auditing purposes.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and ISO standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Certification in Quality Control (e.g., CQI, ASQ) is a plus.
