Responsibility
- Conduct rigorous inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, checklists, and documentation in alignment with ISO and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and R&D teams to identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects or non-conformities and propose sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, rejection rates) to management with actionable insights.
- Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP, HACCP) for product safety and legality.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control protocols, tools, and techniques to foster a culture of quality.
- Participate in supplier audits and evaluations to maintain high standards across the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in quality control, preferably within manufacturing, logistics, or FMCG industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001, and familiarity with tools like Six Sigma, Lean, or 5S.
- Proficient in using quality inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, spectrophotometers) and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings or specifications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Certifications in Quality Control (e.g., CQE, HACCP) are a plus.
- Willingness to work in Denpasar, Bali, with occasional travel to production sites or supplier locations.
