Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and protocols to ensure semiconductor products meet stringent industry and company standards.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections, tests, and analyses of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using advanced metrology tools.
- Identify root causes of quality deviations and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to mitigate risks and enhance process reliability.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve yield rates.
- Generate detailed quality reports, documentation, and statistical analyses to support compliance with ISO, IATF, and other relevant certifications.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the use of inspection equipment.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements in quality assurance methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations in all quality control activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or process engineering within the semiconductor, electronics, or precision manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram).
- Proficiency in using metrology equipment (e.g., SEM, AFM, optical microscopes) and quality management software (e.g., SAP, MES).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality standards in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt are highly desirable.
