Responsibility
- Coordinate and review service drawings for ACMV, electrical, sprinkler, plumbing, and sanitary systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct on-site quality inspections to verify that construction work adheres to approved drawings, codes, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects to resolve discrepancies and implement design adjustments as needed.
- Prepare and update technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) with precision and attention to detail.
- Document and report quality control findings, including non-conformities, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Ensure all drawings and documentation are version-controlled and properly archived for future reference.
- Assist in the development of as-built drawings and final project documentation for handover.
- Provide technical support to project teams by interpreting drawings and clarifying design intent.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QC, drafting, or construction coordination, preferably in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., local building codes, ISO, ASME).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
