As our QC Assistant Manager, you will mentor inspection teams, oversee complex dimensional metrology tasks, and act as a key liaison between engineering and production teams to resolve quality deviations efficiently. Join us in setting the gold standard for manufacturing excellence in Shah Alam.
Responsibility
- Lead and oversee daily QC operations, ensuring all products meet stringent client and industry standards.
- Perform advanced CMM programming and data analysis to verify dimensional accuracy of complex components.
- Develop, document, and implement robust quality policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct internal audits to ensure continuous compliance with ISO and relevant quality management systems.
- Provide technical guidance and training to QC inspectors and junior staff regarding inspection equipment usage.
- Analyze root causes for non-conformities and drive effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline production workflows and minimize scrap rates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Quality Control/Assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on proficiency in operating and programming CMM equipment (e.g., Zeiss, Hexagon, or Mitutoyo).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint reading.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards and other relevant industry certifications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Strong command of English and Malay; ability to communicate technical data clearly to stakeholders.
