Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of food products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and verify packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, and product presentation.
- Perform hygiene and sanitation checks in production and storage areas.
- Maintain detailed records of quality control inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
- Assist in the implementation of quality control procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to local and international food safety regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in quality control or food manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) is advantageous.
- Ability to work in shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
