Responsibility
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce, document, and track bugs.
- Design and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new updates do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Conduct usability and performance testing to enhance user experience.
- Document test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging QA tools and methodologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in software testing, QA methodologies, and test case design.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and bug-tracking systems.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in remote teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
