Responsibility
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and gaming applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Validate bug fixes and regression test to ensure no new defects are introduced in subsequent releases.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test data aligned with project requirements and user stories.
- Perform compatibility testing across different devices, browsers, and operating systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements and best practices for QA methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest QA tools, trends, and industry standards to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in software QA testing, preferably in web, mobile, or gaming industries.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes (e.g., Agile, Scrum, TestRail).
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Mantis.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate defects clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Passion for gaming, technology, or software development is highly advantageous.
