Responsibility
- Conduct daily quality checks on fresh and frozen products to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and record temperature controls for storage and transportation to maintain product freshness and safety.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage and document bad stock, ensuring proper disposal and reporting.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports to management.
- Implement and maintain standardized quality control procedures and documentation.
- Identify and report quality deviations, proposing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to address quality-related issues and improve processes.
- Ensure all products meet hygiene, labeling, and packaging requirements before distribution.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in quality assurance, preferably in the retail, FMCG, or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP) and quality control methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to assess product quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
