Responsibility
- Perform thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
- Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional tests using precision measuring tools and testing equipment.
- Document and report quality control findings, including defects, deviations, and non-conformities, with clear and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate quality records and inspection logs in compliance with ISO and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and workplace standards in all inspection activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in Quality Assurance, Inspection, or a similar role within manufacturing or precision engineering.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in using measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and inconsistencies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles is a plus.
