Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Perform precision measurements and tests using calibrated equipment (e.g., micrometers, gauges, spectrophotometers).
- Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions in detailed reports for traceability.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, GMP, and client-specific requirements.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and propose process improvements.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection tools to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
- Support audits and certifications by providing data and evidence of quality control processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in manufacturing, lab testing, or production environments.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and quality control software (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM).
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or QA methodologies are a plus.
