Responsibility
- Set up and operate plastic injection moulding machines according to production specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
- Monitor production processes to identify and resolve issues affecting quality or output.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and minimize material waste.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Maintain accurate records of machine performance, maintenance, and production data.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Moulding Technician or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to handle machinery and perform manual tasks as needed.
