Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products to identify defects or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Prepare and present detailed quality reports to management, highlighting key findings, corrective actions, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other relevant automotive quality standards.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures, best practices, and the use of inspection tools and equipment.
- Lead or participate in customer audits and provide support for quality-related inquiries or concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality control methodologies.
- Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software (e.g., CMM, calipers, statistical process control software).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
