Responsibility
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Perform exploratory and automated testing to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Report, track, and verify the resolution of defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Conduct regression testing to ensure software stability after updates or changes.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Provide feedback on software design, usability, and performance to enhance product quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes (e.g., manual testing, automated testing).
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
