Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures in compliance with local and international food safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, raw materials, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HACCP, ISO, and local food safety regulations.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality control procedures, hygiene practices, and food safety protocols.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance reports, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Prepare and present quality assurance reports to management, highlighting key metrics and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP) and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with quality management systems, auditing, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is a plus.
