Responsibility

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health (QESH) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Attend project meetings, assist in meeting presentations, and prepare Minutes of Meeting (MOM) to ensure clear documentation and follow-up on action items.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate QESH best practices into project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Provide training and awareness sessions for employees and contractors on QESH policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and submit reports on QESH performance, including metrics, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest regulations, industry trends, and technological advancements in QESH to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QESH roles, preferably in the engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international QESH regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
  • Certification in QESH-related fields (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO Lead Auditor) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
