Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Manage Material Review Board (MRB) and Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMR) processes, documenting and resolving quality issues.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and propose solutions to enhance product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics for audits and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, GMP, and other relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality control processes.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of MRB and NCMR processes, as well as quality management systems (QMS).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, GMP, or other relevant quality standards.
- Proficient in using quality inspection tools and software (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
