Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and control policies and procedures.
- Oversee inspection and testing processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead a team of QA/QC professionals, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and management teams to resolve quality-related issues and enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on quality metrics, trends, and corrective actions.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality management.
- Ensure all products and processes meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using quality control tools and software.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to different sites as needed.
