Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of machine components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, and other critical parameters.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Identify and report any defects, deviations, or non-conformities in materials or finished products.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform regular calibration and maintenance of inspection tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations during all inspection activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify even minor defects or inconsistencies.
