Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for construction projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and document quality issues, and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.
- Review and approve project materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection reports and non-conformance reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related concerns and improve processes.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality control best practices and procedures.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
