Responsibility
- Lead commissioning activities, including system testing, validation, and startup procedures to ensure operational readiness.
- Develop and implement QA/QC protocols, inspections, and audits to maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, API).
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align technical deliverables with project timelines and budgets.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including test reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and commissioning checklists.
- Identify and mitigate risks by conducting root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions for deviations.
- Ensure all engineering systems and components meet design specifications, safety regulations, and performance criteria.
- Train and mentor junior staff on QA/QC best practices and commissioning methodologies.
- Liaise with third-party inspectors and certification bodies to facilitate smooth project approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC, commissioning, or project engineering, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
- Certifications in QA/QC (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) or commissioning (e.g., CQA, PMP) are a plus.
- Proficiency in technical drawings, P&IDs, and inspection tools (e.g., CMM, NDT methods).
- Strong knowledge of international standards (ASTM, ANSI, IEC) and local regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and travel to project sites as needed.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
