As a QA/QC Civil Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of construction quality, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise will drive project excellence, minimize risks, and enhance client satisfaction by implementing robust inspection protocols, documentation systems, and corrective action plans.

Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor QA/QC policies, procedures, and work instructions in alignment with project specifications and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, ACI).
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction materials, workmanship, and processes to ensure compliance with approved drawings, codes, and contracts.
- Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action requests (CARs).
- Coordinate with third-party testing laboratories to verify material properties and performance, ensuring all tests meet project requirements.
- Lead pre-construction, in-process, and final inspections for civil works, including earthworks, concrete, structural steel, and finishing.
- Identify and mitigate quality risks by analyzing trends, root causes, and proposing preventive measures.
- Provide technical guidance and training to site teams on QA/QC best practices and quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in QA/QC for construction projects, preferably in infrastructure, commercial, or residential sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of international construction standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, BS, or local Indonesian regulations).
- Certification in QA/QC (e.g., CQM, PMP, or LEED) is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in QA/QC software tools (e.g., Primavera, AutoCAD, or MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
