Responsibility
- Lead the calibration and maintenance of inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IMTEs) to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage and oversee emission testing operations in the CO test lab, ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement measurement systems analysis (MSA) procedures to validate the reliability of testing processes.
- Coordinate the selection, procurement, and deployment of new calibration and testing equipment.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of calibration records, test results, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues.
- Conduct regular audits of laboratory processes to ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant standards.
- Train and mentor junior staff on calibration techniques, equipment handling, and quality assurance best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metrology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in calibration, quality assurance, or laboratory testing, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of measurement systems analysis (MSA), statistical process control (SPC), and metrology principles.
- Experience with CO emission testing and laboratory management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, or other relevant quality standards.
- Proficient in using calibration software and tools (e.g., Fluke, Mitutoyo).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
