Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, strategies, and automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Lead functional, regression, performance, and API testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Design, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter).
- Collaborate with development, product, and UX teams to identify test cases and prioritize quality improvements.
- Monitor and analyze test results, reporting defects and tracking resolutions through to closure.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into deployment workflows.
- Mentor and guide QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ISTQB) and internal quality benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, or JMeter.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (Git).
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development (TDD).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certifications in ISTQB, Agile Testing, or similar are highly desirable.
