Responsibility
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage of application functionalities.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the testing process.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide insights to improve software quality and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in QA automation and implement them within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in automated testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Postman.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in the banking or fintech industry is a plus.
