Responsibility

  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of PVD equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Monitor equipment parameters and adjust settings to maintain process stability and yield.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to diagnose and resolve equipment-related issues affecting production quality.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective actions in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Document equipment performance, failures, and maintenance activities in detailed logs for analysis.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and qualification of new PVD tools and upgrades.
  • Train and guide junior technicians on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging PVD technologies and industry trends to recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, preferably with PVD systems.
  • Hands-on experience with vacuum systems, thin-film deposition, and plasma etching is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical schematics and manuals.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters) and maintenance software.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO, SEMI, or other industry standards for semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and adhere to strict safety and cleanroom protocols.
