Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize inventory levels and reduce operational costs.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and manage inventory control systems to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Prepare and manage the procurement budget, ensuring alignment with the hotelâs financial goals.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast demand and align procurement activities with operational needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical and financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a team and interact with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of local and international sourcing regulations and best practices.
