Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing for materials and services.
- Process purchase orders and ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, contracts, and pricing agreements.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure budget compliance and cost efficiency.
- Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost-control principles.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or logistics industries is a plus.
